Towards the end of our season we like to close our National Trust property with spooky tales of ghosts and things that go bump in the night. Having met Tom and being introduced to his trade of storytelling I thought that this time I would pass the mantle on and ask him to relay the scary tales. So it was on a dark rainy Halloween afternoon that Tom recounted tales of ghosts and paranormal activity to a paying audience of around 50 people. It is always a risk when you employ the services of somebody for the first time but Tom did not disappoint. He certainly looked the part and held our audience for the best part of an hour, drawing them in with clear precise annunciation and then the ability to make them jump or laugh with perfect timing. Tom himself was a very pleasant person to work with and what I found particularly impressive was that with only one week to prepare his work was well researched and his script was well planned and thought out. Tom will be working for us again this season and I would not hesitate to recommend him to speak at an event or occasion you may be planning.
